My sin: Stealing

Today I went to pay off a credit card bill for a department store credit card.

The balance on my card was: $306.00
I had in my pocket in a wad of 20 dollar bills the sum of $320.00
I am absolutely positive this is what I have to pay the bill with.

I get to the mall and go into the store to pay the bill.
The young lady checks my balance and gives me the total $306.00.
I hand her my wad of 20s and say: I believe thats $320.00
She takes it counts it and says something inaudible and hands me back $60.00 right away.

I'm thinking what????

She opens up the register and then procedes to give me another $14.00 dollars in change. I'm trying to make sense of this and I know there's no way in heck I have given her more than $320.00.

Mind is racing.. Think man think.. I hear myself say "Oh jeez did I overshoot it that much?" followed by a little laugh.. Oh my god man what's wrong with you. Not only are you stealing but you're gonna get this poor girl fired when she counts her drawer and comes up way short. "Thanks a lot, I appreciate the time." Turning to leave the store. Noooo man.. Stooooop don't do iiiit. Think about how much heartache and headache you're gonna cause her, and the blotch on her resume'.

Finally I come to my senses and realize.. Yea you're right.. Do the right thing and ask her to recount and save her from humiliation. But by the time I came to this decision I was already hauling ass home doing 60 in a 40 and wondering what I was going to spend my free $60.00 on.

Um, ok... Since we're spillin gutz here, the worst thing I ever done?

Probably the time that I was on a date with a hot chick, and we was out in the bottoms, that's way out in the middle of nowhere, and she wouldn't give it up, so I left her at the river... it's like 30 miles to the main highway... I felt bad about it, but she shouldn't have been such a tease... :)

Ya know, sapien20, this is the worst thing we have done, and yes, I may have been a bad person for it, but it's not like I do it EVERYDAY or anything... it's just a one time thing... besides, I didn't hear anything from YOU..... hmmm... interesting...... Trust me, people have done worse to myself.... and by the way, Im a young, 22, rather humble guy, not to be confused with Grumpy... :)

You're starting to sound a bit like me right down to the age.. I'll have to start thinking of my worst offense.. Gonna take awhile going through all of em. Grumpy by the way is a young male model working in Austrailia. That's why I give him crap about being old.
Actually he's my father.. He cut off my hand and tried to make it into space.. But he only got so far as Austrailia before he realized the world was round.. So he's now started work on his "death star"..
