Empire Earth II v1.05 Issue(s)
 

After installing from the original CDs, without modifiying anything, I ran the updater I DL'ed earlier and as soon as the patch starts, I get an "Unknown version of game installed" error...

What gives?

In the registry, the version is clearly defined as v1.00 but there is a "1.02" key there...

My EXE is fully protected and asks for the round things... (has to, as its original)

Its property states v1.00 as well...

The error is: "This patch is incompatable with the version of Empire Earth II that you have installed."

How to tell US and EUR? If that may be the case

Well, it turns out that I had to install the UK patch instead of the US one...
