HL2 Online Activiation
 

Hi everyone,

I've this problem: I've bought the game HL2 and now I'm trying to install it. It likes to connect with steam for activation, but I'm behind a firewall and there are no proxy or something like this, in the steam properties. There are no properties at all, am I right?! What can I do?

First try temporarily disabling your firewall and see if it activates.

This FAQ on the STEAM support site shows which ports STEAM needs open to work.

I run Zone Alarm firewall and have no trouble running/updating via STEAM.
