HELP ME! Republic Commando!
 

Hi u all, I'm Italian ( so sorry for my english :P ) and I need help with star wars republic commando.
I installed the game, then copied the crack but uen i start the swcommando.exe the game doesn't start....i tried with a VENGEANCE crack, and it say(in the HELP.txt) :

Copy the cracked EXE-file from the \Vengeance-directory to
GameData\System dir and then NONSSE/SSE if that applies to you.

What are NONSSE and SSE? What can I do to play this damned game? HELP ME!

Ah, you mean you downloaded an iso of the game, where the vengeance was included, right ?

Well after read all the forum i could open the game and "try" to start it, but as a lot of user's when the game is loading it crashes with an .exe error (well i have to reset my computer everytime cause it get frozen) i already changed the launchfile propierties for beeing comaptible with windows 98 also the republiccommando.exe, and right now im downloading the demo for know if its my computer problem (i dont think so cause i already make the test from the game and all was ok), i got a Radeon 9000 pro could be this the problem?.... :confused: what i should do? thanks anyway :)

You can read the same text in the stand-alone no-CD patch by Vengeance on GCW, too! You are a bit too paranoid... ;)

That has nothing to do woth paranoia, as long as I am not Ozzy or any other Black Sabbath member :):):):)

Well finally im able to play the game, i download a diferent driver from ATI and i made a shortcut of the SWRepubicCommando.exe with the Windows 98 / ME comptability and it finaly works...
Well guess i'm nearly to end of the game, right now i have to save a wookie.......
I have been more time trying to make the game works than playing it, anyway it's a good one.

I don't think it has to do with the SSE and NONSSE but did you try to start the game through the launcher? If you did then you need to get a cracked version of the launcher!

To short game, just 2 days of game play, anyway it's a good one
