Hd Foramting Probs ! Again

So I Just Got My Ps2 W A Crystal Chip In It While It Was Comming I Was Putting All My Games On My 3oo Gig Drive. I Been Using "win Hiip" So When I Put My Hd In My Ps2 It Tells Me That My Drive Needs To Be Formated...... But I Formated It Using Win Hiip..... So I Went Ahead And Formated It. Put It Back O My Pc Put 1 Game On It Then Back In The Ps2 And It Worked. Then I Put It Back On My Pc To Load The Rest Of The Games And Get The Same Error, That It Needs To Be Formated. Is It A Prob If I Am Imaging Backed Up Games, Do I Need Orginals ? Akso I Get An Error Every Time When I Open Winhiip After Closing It. It Oly Tellsme It When I Need To Reboot My Pc.

Any Help Would Be Great !

Mike

your problem is you are usieng an old version of winhiip. The newest version is v1.7.2. What is happening is you are getting corrupted data in the boot sector that the old version thinks means the drive needs formation. The new version will detect this error and automatically ask you if you want to fix it.
