FileForums - Burning fine with Mitsumi 4802

Loads of people have been having problems burning Dreamcast games with a Mitsumi drive, especially the 480 series. The reason for this is that the earlier versions of firmware which came with the device were, well quite shit and didn`t do any decent features. You can get a free firmware update by going to www.mitsumi.com and downloading it.

The latest firmware works fine with DiscJuggler 2 and Fire Burner for all games I have tried, including self booting games and other stuff.

Just make sure the settings in DJ2 are on RAW write, Overburn CD, Write (but NOT Verify), Read ISRC/UPC, Ignore Read Errors and Burn Proof. Also, i have CDDB on, ive never tried it off and its been fine, so put CDDB on as well.
