Mini image of securom game
 

hello,
i want to know if there is a way to make an mini-image of a securom new 5 protected game. i treid it with söldner : Secret wars and the program iso directory, but when i tried to mount that mini-image i get the error:
failed to mount image. image size mismatch.

does anybody know how to make a working mini-image?

Mini-Images are only for Safedisc & Starforce protected games !!!

so there is no way to do it for securom?

I have mini-images that work fine for securom games. This is done on a per game basis. It does not work for all of them.
Make sure you're making the image from a clone or actual copy of the game. Run it to 2% then cancel. if it doesn't work, you're out of luck (try using starforce nightmare with it, and doing the registry edits as well)

Are you suggesting clones from rls groups? Tut tut

I'm suggesting anything that offers up the chance for someone to make a proper fix for it. Where they get the source material is up to them.

Can you give some examples of SecuROM mini-images which you have working. This will enable all of us to first create a mini-image of a known working SecuROM protected game.

This will then enable everyone to test/check/prove we have the process working correctly, and the correct environment, so that when we try other SecuROM images, we know that if they fail, it's not down to something else.

I think mini images for secure rom can be done but it necessary make some tricks to avoid the blacklisting
