Colin McRae rally security check error.
 

I recently bought Colin McRae Rally 2005 off Ebay. Even though this has obvious risks, the 2 online stores I use were sold out and I could not be bothered waiting for new stock. It arrived promptly and is in good condition. I install it though, entered the CD key that came with it and it then gave a "Copy Protection error" when it checked the disc. Well it didn't even give the error, it minimised it so I was looking at a black screen and I had to ctrl alt delete to close it.
Anyone know of this problem and how to get past it? I open to any patches or cracks people can offer to bypass it.

Without a proper quote of the error message, I don't think anyone could or would help you. There must be a detailed explanation for the problem in the dialog box. Also, you should contact the game publisher/manufacturer or ask on the official game support forum or send your problem to the Starforce user support. This forum is not about solving problems with the original CD's/DVD's themselves! Bye,
