Port problems with Halo
I am Playing Halo for the first time and am having problems getting servers to show up in multiplayer. I only get about 8-10 servers when my friends get 500.
I also can not host a game. I have researched this and found that I might have to do port forwarding. Does anyone know exactly how to set this up. I use DMZ on my Linksys router for Metal of Honor and can host fine. Halo updates through port 80 Listens on port 2302 Connects to host on 2303 I have gone to Linksys site and it talkes about port forwarding. But has no clear answer on how to set it up. "Or maybe I just can't figure it out". These things I know. I just dont know how to go about how to set it up to work Thanks for any help Terik I am using Windows XP Pro AMd 1900+ ATI 9600 Pro Linksys BEFW11S4 V.2 |
weird.see if you got any server filtered

I used the same router when I used to play Halo and I didn't do any port forwarding. Are you using a NO-CD crack? If you use the NO-CD for Halo it will only show servers running an older version (very few).

I do not have filters on but I do have a NoCd crack. That may be the problem.
I kept my original Halo.exe so I will put it back in and try that. Thanks for the info. Terik When I do try to enter the servers it shows, it says I am running a older version when I do have the updated version. That has got to be the problem. I will let you know! Terik |
try downloading a server fix..
