V4 PS2 Matrix Infinity install prob
 

I've installed an infinity homebrew in a v4 ps2, when I follow the instructions to flash the chip by putting the ps2 into standby and then pressing and holding the reset button, nothing happens, the blue light on the eject button comes on about a second later and the upgrade disc doesn't spin. Then it says disc read error on the telly. The ps2 is playing dvd's, cd's and original games. My soldering looks ok. Any ideas on what's up?

I sent an email to the Matrix team but wasn't expecting a reply till Monday. I got an email from them at 9PM..............Impressive eh? I kept the reset button in till the cd started to spin, (bout 20 secs) and I was able to flash with firmware 1.45. Works like a dream now.

That is actually pretty impressive.. Thos guys sure work hard. With all the stuff they handle they still have a damn good response time.. Better than 911.
