Backup PS2 games on PAL system!!????
 

Hey guys!
A friend of mine told me he has a conntact that says he knows how to copy games so that they run on a PAL system........UNMODDED!!! :confused:

What I want to find out is is this at all possible, cause as far as I know, as soon as you copy a PAL game, it turns into a NTSC type disk, and u would need a Mod chip to play it.

Your friends crazy, Also if you make a direct backup of a PAL game you will have a PAL backup. You must apply a PAL2NTSC patch to change the region code.

But on the end you will still need a mod chip to play any backup copies, right?
