Toxic DL Patcher Out Now!
 

Toxic have released a patcher for dual layer games that removes the media checks, basically doing the same job as their firmware for the DMS4, but this time applying it to an ISO of the game so that the burned copy already has the checks removed.

Very useful for 1:1 dual layer backups of games like Gran Turismo 4, Kessen III, God of War and the like for people who don't have DMS4s or Matrix Infinitys.


Personally I have tested this and got a 1:1 copy of Gran Turismo 4 on DVD+R DL working on a v7 PS2 with DMS3. Unfortunately the same copy won't work on my v7 PS2 with Magic 3.1.

I can confirm Gran Turismo 4 works perfectly with CC on a v10

Tested on a slimline, a v7 and a v9. All with CC all work great.

Sweet! Just the confirmation I was looking for. I wanted to try with my CC but I didn't want to experiment at $11 a disk.

maybee a daft question but would this work with a messiah 2 mod as i dont have a dl burner (yet) some 1 out ther must have tried it PLEASE ;)

It does work with a Messiah 2 v7 (1.33b anyway).
