how to convert an ide device into usb 2.0
 

I dont know if it will work by you guys but it works by me :p
All i did is downloaded starforce nightmare 1.12 and disabled CD and NODE.
And then the wearest part i opened up a game with daemon tools and then go to virtual cd/dvd rom Set device parameters and then u ll se at the upper left corner VENDOR yust rename it into USB 2.0 and also rename the box where it sas revision into 3.0 and there you go.You need to have 1 open device in your daemon tools!!! :cool:

You can go and check in the device manager if it worked.

But i had an ide device before and didnt buy any usb 2.0 dvd drives
i hope this will help somebody to crack some starforce protected games.
I tried it on Splinter cell 3 and it worked fine :cool:

You need to have 1 open device in your daemon tools and 1 of your computer and then you need to unmount the game from daemon tools and mount it on MY COMPUTER and then left click device and then click on MOUNT IMAGE!!!

Need mound dvd disk in dvd-rom and dvd-image in Daemon virtual drive??? Hell, maybe that's new brain-kickin fake?? :cool:

i ll be short if you have 2 dvd devices (1 primary(dvd player or cd ) and 1 secondary(dvd burner)then you yust disable cd and nodes with starforce nightmare and it disables you the primary drive !!!then you yust open up my computer and mount the image in a NON virtual drive!!!
You need Daemon tools instaled.

Thats not a fake i tried it on Splinter cell 3!!!!!! And this fake actualy worked :D

You need a full image of the game i did a original image with alcohol 120%
and then mounted it on a non virtual device.

Ah... I almost forgot :D You need to open up star****v0.83beta (GERMAN VERSION)
and then select StarForce 3.4.63.2 then click on CD8 DEAKTIVIEREN
Then click on EINSTELUNGEN CDRoms befinden sich:then select Am sekundaren Kanal Patch Type der Kanale:Super Agresiv
Ordner Daemon tools:(select where you instaled the exe. file of the game)
And then click on ANVENDEN then if you get this error(Splinter cell 3):
The Disc Key you entered does not correspond to the disc in the drive.Make sure you use the correct Disk Key!!!!!!Well then you are on the right way ;)

I dont undestand how to mount to NON virtual device???
steps:
1.Make images(alchohol120)
2.Enable one drive in Daemoon tools,and set his parametres(usb 2.0,rev3)
3.Disable nodes and cd roms w\nightmare
4.Mount image on "usb 2.0"
5.w\starf*uck :select image(on me hdd),select game *.exe (on my hdd),
create a link.
it doesnt work!
