games arn't copying properly can any one help
 

hi, ive been searching day and night for software and info on how to copy ps2 games and never really got anywhere! but i found some software that actually works now but it does'nt copy properly. ie. i copied the getaway black monday and it copied fine but the sound was out! you were getting the motion before the sound if you no what i mean. i cant figuire out whats gone wrong and its so annoying. also gta vice city copied fine but it crashes. i use RIDISC DVD-R 4.7GB the only thing i could think of is i was using the wrong disks or somethink. but dont, no can any one help please

What modchip do you have and what software did you use?? Also what version console do you have?

Hmm, I think you should try some different Media, and see what happens. Maybe Ridisc are now using the degraded Ritek dyes :( Failing that, I'd say your laser could be struggling with the copied stuff. (Hence we need to know what version PS2 you have) :)

to be honest i dont no what chip it is all i no is that it cost me £100 and its the slimline ps2. not sure on the model either i got it about 1 month ago brand new if that helps! i use dvd decrypter.

Lasers in slimlines aren't very good - it's probably that...

others work fine
 

but i have other copied games that work fine that i bought so it cant be the laser!

Then it's a bad burn / Media Problem...

...but those v12 lasers aren't great :(
