Airline Tycoon Evolution Manual Patch
 

The Manual patch released on the web does not register the game as installed.

So I am unable to play past the 30-day evaluation period.

I have patched the game to 1.04 and have dl the correct manual.

Tried to use the manual patch even before patching the game.

Tried the no-cd patch from gamecopyworld. But this does nothing to the manual check up at the end of evaluation period.

Anyone else have this problem? cause I tried searching my butt off on the web and I seem to be the only one with this prob. :(

But the keywords asked in the game seems to be somewhat repetetive. Like 5 different options. I have tried a bunch of obvious words but none works.

Can anyone help me out? Is there a reason that the manual patch does not register my game as installed? Could this be solved somehow?

You will get better support from the developers than here buddy. Just goto their site and send an email and/or post on their forum/messageboard if they have one.

I sent them an e-mail 2 weeks ago,. still no reply.

All the sites dedicated to this game have been pulled off the web, or discontinued and not updated anymore.

However a czhec website is still up and running, had no reply from them either. Just thought I'd try and see if anyone had the same prob though.
Bought the game used anyhow, did not spend more than 10 bucks.

I sent the e-mail to strategy first. And it is their patches that I am enquiring about. Especially since their manual patch does not register the game as installed!!

Just figured that there might be a trick to edit smth in the registry or smth like that. But I guess I will have to wait for my reply from Strategy First.

The problem is so strange as their 1.03 patch registers the game, but the manual patch doesn't....??!!! :)

Okay, I have been working on this for 3 days, i have figured that NO patches help in the game and the manuals still don't do anything AT ALL.........so, i finally came up with a conclusion. I noticed that after 3 incorrect answers to the flight manual check the game would end, but then i noticed that after 2 incorrect answers, if you type in the word "protector" it will reset and you can continue to guess.........i also noticed that (at least with the US version of the game) it will give you something like page/paragraph/word.......there are only 5 options that come up.......at least with my game the options are as follows:

Okay, so since none of the words didn't match up, i just looked in the manual AROUND where everything is and came up with some words, most didn't work, then i finally got a hit. I was typing in the word "graphics" and "as", and i was able to go on with the game. I'm ALMOST positive it was graphics, but when the check comes up, try both, type in "graphics" enter "as" enter, when it doesn't work, type in "protector" to reset, then try them over again. Keep doing this until you get back in. Any questions, email me at [email protected] and i'll try to help out more :)

well put the files up somewhere, let someone have a stab at it, chances are the words are stored crypted, and u just need to null them... old style, or take the check out itself

Have you asked the publisher about these problems? Or is this game not supported officially anymore?

I know what he was meaning, the patch was making his game look like it wasnt installed, therefor the game wouldnt register after being patched so would get the 30 day trial instead.

Edit: Bahhh im tired, that was last year O_o


Oh and to saggitary we dont allow the ease of bypassing those protections.
