Swap Magic
 

Hey I just got Swap Magic installed on my PS2. I was wondering if I could play burned games online? I just dont wanna get banned for a while from Sony lol.

DNAS, i dont play online so i may be wrong but i think you must patch the backup to play online.

Yeah I finally got my PS2 back with the Swap Magic installed. I also ordered a DVD Burner off the net so it should be coming on Thursday. Any programs you guys can recommend so I can back up my games? And any advice? :D

Well, this advice is a bit late, but I'd have gotten a proper mod rather than a Swap Magic disc... :(

Yeah I kno lol..i just didnt feel like opening up my ps2 and soldering crap. and i dont kno n e 1 who would install that i trust lol. Why whats so bad about Swap Magic?

Well a bit late for that lol. Ill probly put one in when I get some more cash. Hey when I wanna backup my games which program would b better? Alchohol 120% or Nero? And what does it mean to use IMAGE COPY? Cuz that what I need to do to my backups if I wanna play them. It says "You can use either DVD+ or DVD- disc for your backup, but make sure you need to use the IMAGE COPY mode for backing up your disc"

I would choose Alcohol over Nero. Just use the copy wizard in the main toolbar. Its fairly simple.

Oh ok thanx. Im still waiting for my DVD burner in the mail :(
