I have tried to make a backup of this game, but it doesn't work. The PS2 logo shows up, but that's all. I have used DVD Decrypter and Verbatim discs. Hopefully you can help me

are those discs DataLife or DataLifePLUS.

Also, what speed did you burn the discs at, and what chip / method do you use to boot the disc?

Its either poor media or the laser is getting a little weak. I got the game backed up on Taiyo Yuden media running perfectly...also like Lufcfan asked. What speed are you burning at?? Newer 8x media does better burned at higher speeds.
