How can I find out which modchip I have in without open the PS2
 

I have my PS2 chiped but I don't know which chip they put in, is there a way to find out without open the box?

need more info than that, a good place to start is by posting the methods you use to boot ps2 backups, and PSX backups.

they didn't tell me anything, ps2 play the backups just like the originals, just put in the game, it shows the ps2 or psx logo and that's it, play it

any special boot operations? can it play multi region dvds?
