If Crystal chip doesnt Give us a update soon i will be installing my old infinity chips back into my consoles . To me CC is starting to lag behind its competition.

Anyone know how i can rip it to DVD5? I don't have a DL writer :(

lufcfan 15-04-2005 15:30

I'm gonna have to get Infinity :)

My GT4 is really looking a bit doggy now my friends have had it :(

haaha u guys still using outdated chips. Get DMS4 PRo. No problem plus third party software support!

lufcfan 16-04-2005 01:33

My so called 'out dated' chip still does everything I need it to do...

...and I aren't going to buy a chip which costs more than an Infinity (i.e. DMS4), when I can get a far better chip (the Infinity) for less...

How do you figure? Infinity now supports dual layer and you dont need and chip at all to be able to boot GT4 from HDD. With the severe ground bounce issues the DMS products have suffered from day one I would say if anything they are the ones with outdated technology.... why after all these years do there chips still suffer from this. I have never had problems with the CC or MI and ground bounce. Dont get me wrong the DMS4 has some great feature but so to the CC and MI with out GB issues and on a much more compact PCB.

I'm sure the CC team is just around the corner from some great new features in the BM

Well said Spedmetal, i couldnt agree more.
The last chip i would buy would be a DMS :(

lufcfan 16-04-2005 17:52

If you have the v.14 flash it should. What game do you have on DL?

HANS_COBBO 17-04-2005 15:17

Backed up GT4 via Dvd-decrypter. I get as far as the playstation2 screen then hangs on black screen. Not flashed the 1.4 yet Also, the drive makes slight clicking noises whilst reading the disc. Disk is a Traxdata.

spedmetal 17-04-2005 17:15

well any flash other then v1.4 is not supportive of DL
