Does anyone knows how to play without the cd ? I found nothing about this game.
Thanks! :)

Nothing on GCW?

Then you can always try megagames(dot)com (dot = .)

Until then looks like you are playing with your original disc in the mean time.

I think that my cd won't become dusty for the next weeks ;)

Im afraid u won't see a crack soon for this one ... its Starforce

im unable to back up my copy , too becource i cant get at least one of my drives to finish the alcohol DPM - but if u are lucky and manage to get a DPM reading with alcohol - you can burn that image with "RMPS emulation" on a cd - put that in an optical drive wich is connected to your computer via USB2.0 (yes everything else won't work - maybe making a mini image -(googel for it))
if the burned disk shows up in your drive labeled as : "NEEDS EMULATION" you need to switch the RMPS emulation from alcohol or daemon tools on ....
then bevore u start the game download star**** or starforce nightmare and disable the blacklists.(alcohol & d-tools & virtual drives are blcklisted by starforce)

for all of this to work u need :
1. an UNSCRATCHED original disc
2.alcohol120%
3.a good cd/dvd- rom wich is able to extract a good DPM
4.an external cd/dvd-rom or rw connected via USB (note
if u r lucky even a mini image and unplugging optical
drives could work)

IF u are going through all that hassel - and maybe get a good dpm file pls pm me or host it somewhere (i.e. copybase.ch) like i said im havin trouble extracting the dpm at all (reading freezes right bevore it should finish )

It appears the starforce drivers now attempt to actively prevent users from extracting DPM info causing the problem you described. Obviously uninstalling the sf drivers isn't enough to get rid of this "feature", so probably extracting the DPM info is possible on a system, where no sf drivers have ever been installed. Maybe using a fresh windows install (or an image w/o any sf stuff) would work for you...

Have a caddy and Hard Drive with a clean install of windows XP. With this you can extract DPM info from the disc. Once Starforce drivers are on your system, they are a B***er to get rid of.

thnx for ur info - i diddn't know that - unfortunately (for me :P) i think my cd's are either a little scratched or my cd roms are no good course after several tries
on a new install of win2k (i only own 2k and like it better anyway) my pc simply hangs at 96% of the DPM ... im goin to try it at a friends house soon (as soon as i can convince him to format his drive and reinstall his os lol :-) ^^ )

edit: if anybody gets to do this earlier than me pls upload ur mds file to copybase.ch or a similar site i'll do the same if i succeed .....
