Trouble with DMS4 Pro
 

I had an earlier post about finding the power point to solder this chip in. I have since resolved that but I now have a problem booting up. I have had some succesful boots but it has been acting flakey. most of the time it will boot to a black screen. This seems to have happend after trying to upgrade to the toxic OS. I have been succsfull with hitting the reset 3 times and getting the toxic upgrade to be succesfull, and had one of my back ups play but know it is doing the black screen boot up thing again. Could this be the ground bounce thing that I have heard spedmetal talk about. Anyone have a similar experience with this type of chip.

I too was thinking Ground Bounce. That is something the DMS chips have HUUUUGGGE problems with :(
