SIMS 2, Please help
 

Hey everybody. I have "purchased" the game SIMS 2 and it has installed on my computer and i can access SIMS 2 Body Shop but when i try and launch the game it asks me to use Disk One. When i insert disk one it says it cant find the CD-ROM disk and that its the incorrect one. I have tried it with all 4 disks and it says the same thing. Can someone please help me im dying to play this game. Thanks peoples

We know you didnt buy it, hence why it looks for the cd as the protection is still active.

Priscilla, it is not about you it is about the forum rules that we all must follow. And the fact that piracy is illegal (in most countries) and therefore you are only allowed to talk about legal backups and cracks to games that you have bought.
Sorry it had to be this way, but it is you that have done it. If you would have read the forum rules you would've known this and not made this mistake.

i never said it was illegal or pirated! u guys just assumed that! never assume! it makes an ASS out of U and ME.

Sorry but its the same welcome for everyone trying to circumvate their illegal copies.

No hard feelings etc, but it is against the rules here. And your like other people who believe that sites like this are warez sites and help you in that department, when it isnt.

Well as far as I can think "purchased" means "downloaded" or purchased but not original. If you did own the original, why would you use the " "?
That is why I assume you do not have an legal copy. If it makes me an ass, so be it.

None of the posts have been meaning to in any way hurt your feelings or similar. They are informative and are telling you what the board rules says.

I think we all got majorly sidetracked on the warez issue here.
This is clearly a tech support question.

When tech support fails to help you, go to the place you "purchased" it from and ask for your money back or a different copy, or store credit.

Read the rules.
Even if someone is rude to you, never be rude back (and that's not just for posting)

Out of curiosity though , where did you get your copy of it?
