You don't need a NoCD? The addon automatically patches the game to v1.2 which is protection/CD check free!

Check the EXE after installing the addon, it is not protected! So you can run Doom 3 and the Addon without the CD after installing the addon :)

The MiNT NOCD is the same EXE but edited to remove the 'call home' CD KEY check!

I was going to suggest maybe this thread should be made into a Sticky for a while, so people can see you dont need a new crack to play, but really what is the point as most people dont read the stickies anyway! :rolleyes:

Well installed the Doom3 addon, and placed the cracked exe in the doom3 directory, but when i load the game, it still asks for both CD keys on the menu screen? Why is this, i thought this crack was surpposed to stop this??

No! You still need your original CD keys to install and play. And you dont need a NoCD crack to play! The v1.2 update patch takes care of this. ;)

Ah, ok then, because the key i used to install the game, doesnt seem to work when it asks for it again on the title screen! Whys that? Am i aloud to ask where to get a key from that shall work?

The Key came with the game you purchased?

The crack only stops the game from calling home to register your keys.
You still need a legit DOOM 3 - Key and a legit RESSURECTION OF EVIL - Key.
You will get working keys, when you buy both games !!!

@coffin filler: Sorry mate, it just sounded like you was going to D/L the ADDON, not the mint crack!

But as GLH says, nobody with legit keys really needs this!:confused:

Unless you hate playing with the disk in the drive like loads of us do. Of course ppl with legit versions will have legit keys but still playing with the disk in the drive is :mad:

The game does not need the CD to play. The crack is for stopping the registering of your Doom3-Key together with the ROE-Key. So ID Software will not get any info which DOOM3 is played with which ROE.
