RELOADED - how do they do it?
 

hey, just wondering how groups like RELOADED and HOODLUM compress there games so much? i dont download stuff but saw a file of 800 mb and the same game at 3gb

Quite simple really...

he probably seen on a p2p proggy, the 800mb will be a full disc size image, the other size will probably be the complete set of images.

but no downloady anyways :P

Time out, so you guys are telling him that it's illegal to download games that he already has on CD(original retail)?! :eek:

they do it by converting wav audio files to mp3, getting rid of video files, compressing other files in a .cab style, etc...

no, his post has been edited since I replied, but I;m sure it said he got a 800MB file(or words to that effect!!)
