Problems With CD Burning

Hi

using Nero 6, for sopme reason it has just stopped working correctly for me. When I try to burn audio CDs it gets to 95/96% and then I get a 'reset error'.

I've tried re-installing, using different cds, burning at a lower speed, and none of these have worked. I know it isnt a cd drive problem, because I can burn data cds with no problems, and I can also burn audio cds using Adaptec Easy CD.

I know there may not be a problem as far as some of u are concerend as I can still burn CDs, but I am curious as to what has actually happened with Nero. I also prefer using this program, as it makes it easy to split up large audio files.

I'm using Win2000, and was burning CDs fine up until a few days ago - can anyone help out?

With the same mp3 all the time?

Mark Burton 23-03-2005 11:11

No sir, different files....

That is indeed strange.

I have no idea to be honest with you, if I think of something or find something ill post it.

BTW

Thought of something, is your burner external and on a USB2 connection or an internal SCSI?

Mark Burton 23-03-2005 11:22

Its an internal drive...

DABhand 23-03-2005 11:25

IDE or SCSI?

Cause ive seen that many people were having the same problem with external USB and internal SCSI drives, they just updated their nero to 6.6.0.3 or above and the error was fixed.

Something to do with a mm**.dll file forgot the other letters to the filename :\

I'm afraid I have no idea which it is!

I'll have a hunt for 6.6... cheers :)

just download the update from nero.com and it will update your nero 6 to latest version.
