Primo DVD...........

I upgraded my computer from ME to XP. I reinstalled PrimoDVD and then set the Auto Insert Notification to off. It shows PXHElper in the box at the bottom. So am i good to go or do i need to upgrade?

I'd upgrade to at least RecordNow 4.5... (that's what I use anyway). I did buy RNM7 but didnt like it too much...

i also have Record Now, but cant remember what version it is since its on the other computer. Im use to PrimoDVD and hate to switch.

Wow, Primo! Thats hella oldschool. RecordNow Max is very similar, even I got used to it. It even still has some of the similar looks of Primo.

Tyler!

yeah my Record Now looks identical to Primo. PrimoDVD hasnt failed me so thats why i stuck with it.

lufcfan 20-03-2005 04:17

Yeah, if I were you i'd use RecordNow 4.5 rather than PrimoDVD2 :)

As long as your drives are supported i would update to RNM 4.5. There's little if any difference in the two programs.

rubber2k1 20-03-2005 09:30

i have RNM 4.10

My DVD burner is the Pioneer 104

psx_paul 20-03-2005 10:47

v4.10 + Pioneer 104 should work fine, thats the setup I have in one of my desktop PCs

if not, I have PX Engine updates, pm me if needed:)

rubber2k1 20-03-2005 20:12

both Primo and RNM both recognize it. so whats the reasoning behind upgrading to a new RNM?

ottoman 22-03-2005 04:42

Some sites claimed that Primo did have a few nasty bugs in that could effect yr backups but personally i never found any. I spose its just a matter of progression really. I use Record Now DX 4.6 and have never had a coaster from it and as mentioned befor its nearly the same as primodvd2.
