newb needs help
 

hey guys im a newb i was wondering which programs are the best for protection detection and how to get around them when making a back up because i just bought brothers in arms and i wanna make a back up so i dont have to mess up the origional cd thanx in advacned

I prefer ProtectionID by CDKiller, but some members here are also using ArayScanner.

I would say CloneCD5 & Alcohol 120% . But it's not able to make workable 1:1 backups from each protected game. Particularly StarForce3 protected games.

ok well.... found out the game has safedisc 4 and i was reading somewhere that if i mount an image to daemon tools it should work fine or whatnot, well i made an image using clonecd and i tried to mount that image onto dameon tools drive and it said that the image file wasn't the right one or it wasn't mountable, so ...either im doing somehting wrong or their must be a way to gt around of safe disc 4, btw i burn the dvd and eveything s on there, the screen pops up and when i click play it says can't loacte cd-Rom
