Question concerning Act of War
Hi all,
so i just made a Blindwrite Image of that game (BW 5.2.10.142) with a Securom 5 Profile, because Protection ID told me that it is protected with Securom 5.03.13. Now i wanted to mount it with the newest Daemon Tools Version, but well, it did not work. Has anyone here a suggestion what i can do to get the game running? BTW the Error message was: Conflict with disc emulator detected, please check www.securom.com/emulation ..... :( |
Buy the original.

I do not have Clone CD on my Pc, well i think this might be a problem with Daemon Tools, heard than some games have daemon tools blacklisted, so when you 're trying to start them, they won't work. Probably someone else has got an idea... |
Ok.. TJ
You Probably Aware Of That Nowadays It's Impossible To Have A Working Backup Without It's Orginal CD/DVD. The Way I Do It Create The Image Any Type..! Then Load Up ULTRAISO & Open The Image With That..! Then Add The NO - CD Crack In It's Own Dierectory..! Save The Image & Burn..! Install Game & Use Crack In Dir..! :) :) :) |

Well it seems i'll have to wait for a no cd crack, until then i'll have to take my original dvd. Did'nt know that copy protections are that good nowadays ;) |
You should be glad it's not Starforce mate! That's really friendly.

What You Would First Think About Is That The DVD Is 5.16 GB How Would It Fit On A 4.35 GB.. Also How Do These Hackers Develop A Crack Hmm..! Quote:

Well at last i found a workin crack on the M***games Forum , it's for version 1.0 of the game and works very well.
About the problem of the 5.16 GB on a 4 GB disc : Double layer :D Cya |

Now What Method Could You Use For Converting It On A 4 GB DVD Disc..! |
Rip off some unnecessary files, like intro movies, cutscene movies, musics, speech, whatever. If the game doesn't work without those files, replace them with empty files: files of zero length or a file of the same type (AVI/BIK/MP3/WAV/whatever) consisting of only one empty frame. You should test your results on a rewritable CD/DVD... ;) Good luck,
Joe |
