Go to 'Parts & Repair' and there is an original LA6508 for $18.99 or an LA6508 clone for $9.99. Take your pick ;)

Just one more question? Do i still have to do the romeo mod if I replace the la6508 with the clone???

You're still going to have to disconnect some pins from the original LA chip. As for the Romeo mod on the clone, I don't believe it's necessary, although don't quote me on that. This is because I think the clones operate from a 5v power source, hence no need... :)
