ok cheers
it took me 1hour 30 mins per game, they where about 4 gigs each.
does that time sound about right.
also i burnt the first game at 1x and the next two i did at 8x and they all worked fine,i used the data burn method.

i have three more questions.

1:what are trainers,i didnt transfer them to the xbox cause i wasnt sure what they where.

2:can i make my own skins for evolution x,if so could you tell me how.

3:just wondering can u get a ps2 emulator for the xbox.

cheers and thanks to all the people who wrote the tutorials
they where great and alot of help.

1. Trainers are cheats.

2. Yes and not this time big guy. Go to www.allxboxskins.com

3. Now come on. Think about this question for a minute. Really think.

1h 30mins sounds awfully long to me, I transfer from the xbox DVD directly to my PC, and it has never taken that long.

Are you having a 10mbit connection to your xbox by a change?
Check that out and make sure you have 100mbit, goes waaay faster.

Trainers are boring btw.

Quall999 28-02-2005 08:38

Yah, it usually takes me less than 20 mins to ftp a game. I would try something other than evox, like use avalaunch. I remember that evox used to only send at about 1.5mb/sec when I used it long ago. Avaluanch gets about 7mb for dvd's, and 9+mb for HDD->pc transfers for me.

Trainers are fun. It is the only reason why I even started to play Halo again. I loved the super jump and bump character hacks.

kosmiq 28-02-2005 12:45

I use EvoX and has no problems whatsoever with any speed when transfering.
And Avalaunch, well it doesn't fits me...

But thats for each to decide, both are very good if you look at them technically.

(trainers are boring :p )

ok thx for the link
question 3 i dont know,i dont know anything about xbox or emulators, just recently been doing a little bit with xbox and saw they had emultors for just about everything.thought it would be pretty cool one machine to play all games.

kosmiq where do i look to find that out

i dont have the xbox anymore it was a friends i just put evolution x on it and showed him how to back up his games.i am thinking about getting a xbox now,i like the emulator part sounds good to me,havnt read much about emulators, just seen there are lots of them.does anyone use them are they ok.

tbaher 28-02-2005 23:24

They are legal as long as you (and not just your friend) own the actual game.

kosmiq 01-03-2005 09:45

I can tell you that the emulators are great (well some of them atleast).
The N64 emulator called Surreal64 is soo awesome, and the FDB v4 release is even better. Got it working a few days ago and it is soo great.

The NES and SNES emus are great too.
Only bad thing about the emu's is that they are a little tough to get working sometimes. But after a little trixing they all works like a charm.

And I'm gotta check where I found those links and PM them to you tomorrow or so (gotta remember it too :P).

And I do hope you'll get an xbox cause they are great.

If you have any more question, please feel free to ask.
