Don't have the game but the patch doesn't seem to be SecuROM protected like all the others, so it may be NoCD already, just try it!

I had a chance to give patch 2.40 a try. You are right, it is no longer protected by SecuROM and there are no CD-checks either! :)

Occasionally patches get released that are free from any checks, problem is people assume every patch released is protected and ask for NoCD's without trying first.
