Pioneer A09 or 109
These boxes are now down to about $85.00 on the Internet.
Anyone using either of them? Success? Failures? Would like to know how well it works before buying. Thanks, lugesm |

Thank you for the comments.
Which firmware version are you running in the Pioneer? What brand of DVD media do you use? Thanks |
Well, I ordered the Pioneer DVR-109BG DVD+/-RW from Newegg tonight . . . . . $74.49 delivered. Not a bad price.
I hope to test it before the week is out, and I will report results here . . . . . if anyone is interested. |
I understand that the 109/AO9 has PTP capabilities. I wanna know if it can burn GTA4 correctly since the latest word is that its made that way.

Tyler -
Sorry, I am such a novice that I don't know what PTP or GTA4 means. :o All - The unit came in yesterday. So far I have used it to back up some of my wife's DVD movies using Ridata 8x DVD-R media with good success. I have also backed up my computer files on a Sony DVD+RW disk without problems. Don't have any 16x DVD-R media yet. As I continue to use the drive I will report any issues on this Forum. Luke |
