Surely theres a way you can encourage them to log in instead of appear as guests? :cool:

I'll have a think about it, you never know might come up with some ideas ;)

doesnt really matter to anyone if they are members or guests. In fact, its better if they stay as guests, because either they:

1: Brake the rules.
2: Clutter with online members making the page go slow.

Shouldn't make the page go slow hon.

And as for breaking the rules I mod a forum with over 26K members and I'm more than sure the mods are capable of dealing with en1 that breaks the rules here :)

Oh just dawned on me the forum I mod is just coming up for its 3rd b'day.

As far as I can tell, FileForums has been going for at least 4 and 1/2 years now.

1: it would, loading a users profile and data takes more than just a page visit, yes you might think, not much more, but when its thousands were talking about... yes it would slow the page, i know this for a fact.

2: Its easy for you to say, u dont mod this forum, i do, and trust me it can get really annoying at times :P
