nascar simracing image problem
 

Ok I know I can still play the game with the original cd, but I am having a problem with using the image in deamon tools alcohol 120% etc. The game just goes to a black screen and will not load. i have to restart as it completely crashes. Does anyone else have this problem with the image? if so did they solve it and how? Thanks

I had this problem of a black screen and nothing, i found that in 3dsetup i'd opted for a refresh rate of 75 so i dropped that down to 60 and it has been fine since, not sure if this is your problem but worth checking

yeah I am having the same prob with the fixed exe as well. Will try refresh rate, what vid card are you using, what drivers as they say at EA that they can have probs with vid card drivers...

XFX 6800GT using 71.25 drivers

yeah still having problems. tried 3 different drivers and all reolutions and refresh rates and no luck. reinstalled blah blah. Kinda makes me want to download a dodgy version to see if that works..probably would lol. It is amazing as most of the games I have bought legitimately have had some sort of problem e.g. f1 challenge will not work without the no cd crack, same prob with rally trophy. just a dissapointment though as I enjoy the career option in nascar simracing which was missing from f1 challenge, ah well will just have to hope my dvdr drive doesn't scratch the cd as my previous cdrw was quite good at it, it killed my toca race driver cd. :mad:
