Prince of Persia 2 - Stuck near end - time portal doesn't work. **possible spoiler**
 

Hi,

I've just met the empress for the 2nd time and pushed her through the time portal. My problem is that the time portal doesn't notice when I enter it, so I'm stuck and unable to progress the game.

I've tried reloading from an earlier position but that hasn't helped.

Can anyone offer any help?
