Mod Chip Selection

Hey Guys, a quick question.....I know the selection as top Modchip is the MI and the CC, and I think I read that the Duo SE is also a good choice if you just want to do backup games. I know the DMS4 isnt a ood selection for a chip, but what about the DMS 3 Plus? Is it still a good reliable chip?

I wanted to see about getting one put in for my young brother's PS2, which is a V7 (was originally mine I bought new but gave it to him so he could have something to play) and been well cared for. From what I been reading the V7 console is one of the better consoles.

Now, im pretty sure I wont go wrong with the MI and CC, as I would also like the ability to have HD support in the future for his console, which I am not sure if the Duo SE is capable of doing but I think I better buy the NA before theyre no longer found, due to the PSTwo.

Thanks for any help guys! :)

if you simply want to use a 3rd Party HDD with HDLoader/Advance etc and boot backups, the Duo2 SE would be a super choice.

If you want features - then it'll have to be either the MI or CC. Stay away from DMS - akward chips and the MI and CC are better IMHO anyway :)
