Muppet Chip
has any one used this chip before it says
Muppet Chip is compatible with PS2 and PStwo models V9 to V12, PAL/JAP/USA. It is a 100% safe mod chip for PStwo lenses (it does NOT burn the lens and does NOT require any additional protection/diodes http://www.chipspain.com/index.php?cPath=21  |
I bet the name says it all - "Muppet" chip ;)
true but if it works then it would save a lot of time on an install
test one and leave a review on here.

yeh, well i havent chipped a 9 or 10 in a long time so i donno if i get one to test out.
v9/10 are not the prob thinking of the slim line ps2s as i was reading that the dode fix didnt work so been put off doing them unti a 100%fix is found
oh well go for it, i know www.chipspain.com sell the muppet chip lol give it a try. You will need an osiloscope to make sure the voltage output has changed. Otherwise it just could be some cheap fake! that looks like a magic V.
I believe its been stated in a earlier post that it was a MagicV clone. I think its some of the PS2ownz crap like the swap magic. I know they support the chip. With me being Anti-Z and Anti-Ps2ownz i think they suck. Sorry if that offends anyone, its just my opinion.
If Ownz supports it, don't buy it.
I'll say... :)
for starters been proven its clone of the magickv , ys a clone of a already cheap chip, extra wires fit, reason for the clsaims of laser safe, laser dieing caused by mchahon crashing, this is being blamed on lower wire chips causing a crash more often, true / false , who knows without extensive testing
as for v12 fix one used rated by pros is summone fix http://www.ps2newz.net/forums/showthread.php?t=30611 |

thanks for clearing that up dust i thought it did look very simular to a magic v. Well leave the muppet alone :) not worth the hassle. Get a nice matrix infinity they run really nicely on any ps2. |
