where to place..
 

i was just wondering if anybody could best advise me on where to place a CC chip on a v4 mobo?

i was also wondering if anybody has wrote their own guide to chipping a ps2 with a CC, or possible link, im a newbie to it but have help with the soldering and really want to do it myself (hey we've all got to learn somewhere) but a guid would be excellent

well, you ain't picked the easiest board to start off on. ;)

carefull with that board as lufcfan said not the easist to do make sure that you have some one that is very good at soldering and a small soldering iron 15w one f**k up and you will kill your ps2

Just take your time and go slow, Hopefully you will be fine.

if you go to www.norcalmods.com an dcheck out the dudes install pics and look for a v4 it will have a good idea where to put it.
