Playing Japanese online games
 

Hi,

I have US v7 PS2 with MI. If I get US networkadaptor with US HDD( either 3rd party or Sony), would I be able to play Japanese online games? Has anybody tried this? I heard there may be some kind of hardware check that will prevent me from this.

yep its called DNAS, if you need some help check out the ulitimate info sticky on help with dnas and how to overcome the checks.

Just out of interest what game is it :)

I don't know if that'll work. You see, the DNAS Server will give you a region check, and see that you are from an NTSC region trying to access a JAP game, and will probably give you a hardware error.
