Neep Some Pc Help!
ok guys i had an error after i started up my system a few days ago.. so i had to reinstall windows.. it is all working well execpt when today i went to try and play some music on Windows media player 10.. i get an error saying "Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There might not be a sound device installed on your computer, it might be in use by another program, or it might not be functioning properly."
Can anyone give me any ideas? PS: i have tried with no other proggies running and yes i do have my Speaks pluged in! thanks |
Did you install the drivers for audio device properly ?

the thing is that i didn't install any drivers.. how can i find out what driver i need and where can i get them from?

I advise you to save all the drivers on a cd, or even better get a tool like acronis true image or norton ghost. After you have installed all the things you need, make an image of it, burn it to cd or dvd. It is the easiest way to restore a well configured system.
