Bfme,no disk
 

i think i found a way to disable the disk check for this game, but im not going to talk about it until a moderator approves i can... not sure if i will be banned.. i have read the rules and i think bypassing cd checks is against rules..

so when a mod says im allowed to post instructions i will do it.

right, on the real disk, there is a file called autorun.ini and ont his file, it says

[speical]
disk 1

it think if u delete the writing above ont he file, it will skip the check.. reason y is that when you load up the game with a real disk, you get two startupscreens... one with the riverdell setting then the mount doom one. the mount doom one is located in the directory of install.(called enlgishsplash.jpg). this image will only come up if the cd is right... the other i cant find in the install dircetory so it might be on the disk..

only problem is, its a read only file.. so if you can trry to make it unread only file, which i have tried by properties and uncheck read only so someone who is more clever than me can do this..
