StarCraft 2... Will ever come true?
 

My all-time favorite strategy is the famos StrarCraft! But I've been reading articles about, that the project has been totally canceled. There were rumors about the game will still be completed, though Blizzard is off the theme. But now I'm getting certain that StarCraft 2 will never be on the shelves, or not in this century :(
No official expansions, no news about the StarCraft 2 project so far.
I'm very sad. They shouldn't let a name THIS BIG just fade out. I know the orig version is just as popular than it was when it released, but time flows. We need some advanced graphics, some 3D, and new campaigns. I'm not talkin about the orig version is not cool enough to keep me up all night right now, but StarCraft DESERVES a "new look, new saga, same style, same feeling" renovation. :(
The StarCraft community eagerly supported this game through the years, though many, graphically better games were released since. We still support it! Many thousand members BOUGHT the game, and play it ever since! The best selling strategy ever since! Not pirated, and thown away after 2-3 hours of playing, like other games. The sales income from the orig should be far high enough to finish the StarCraft 2! (intermission: StarCraft: Ghost, is a bad joke! It is an utterly bad, and discusting copy of the CnC Renegade idea, and only released on console. They should be ashamed for releasing that cr*p as an official StarCraft game. They really should!) So, I think the game should continue. There are many articles from players demanding StarCraft 2.
So the support is there, the money is there, what's missing? THE DEVELOPERS! They eagerly sell the orig since, they run the Battle.net servers, but too lazy to make a good follow up? Where is Blizzard now?

Now THAT'S what I call appalling. No posts at all. Maybe I was wrong about StarCraft. NOBODY LIKES IT! Or this is what it looks like right now. No posts at all, but I waited a huge amount of time. Well, if you guys are THIS uninterested, I can't do much about it. It's a shame, that after all this time, not a single StarCraft fan wrote anything. Okay, let the game to rot, thats tha way, isn't it? This is a shame to all StarCraft players! :(

Play, starcraft is an abandoned project. And i guess no one said anything because either they know this or because the fact nothing theyll say will change anything, i for one would like to see a command & conquer but since westwood went bankroupt and different developers from ea are doing it now since generals, i cant expect one. The point is, no amount of moaning will change anything.

thats a console game, besides its not really a starcraft, its like calling renegade a real c&c

I agree Luciel, the StarCraft project seems abandoned. But do you have any idea why they keep selling more and more thousand copies per year? Becouse it's worth it, thats why. Starcraft is almost a 10 year old project. But they keep selling it at a huge amount! No game ever made it this far without a sequel or modernization. See? They can strip another fox hide, from Starcraft every year. More than 100000 gamer plays it daily on BattleNet. WE StarCraft players keep the project alive since Blizzard got busted. Isometric graphics, 16 bit color, 800*600, no DX9 effects. But it is still a world wide game! You say no moaning will change anything. But if we don't stand up for StarCraft, it will vanish forever, like all those cool games did. Remember C&C? They got enough money from the sold copies of StarCraft, but they don't do anything. Is StarCraft sentenced to death? A slow and painful death? I hope not...

Well, here we go again, still no word from any StarCraft player or ANYBODY.
I think all my efforts to maintain the interest for the sequel of StarCraft will sunk slowly to the spiderwebbed archives of FileForums. SC2 could be a true RTS after hordes of utterly f*cked up games released under the RTS sign. No true RTSs are made since that. Some ppl claim that WarCraft 3 is the ultimate strategy, or WH40K for PC, or whatever sheat is out there right now. They are all wrong. They may like the game they like, but that is just NOT RTS. That must be an RPGRTS or some bad joke. I'm not here to flatter the games nowdays on the shelves, but those are not true class games. Those are mixes. Anyway, I'm not going to say anything from now on. Nobody values the true gaming experience anymore, ppl only out for the great look and anims. I guess SC is not one of them.
But please explain to me: WHY IS STARCRAFT STILL A LEAD GAME AT WCG??
WHY THEY ARE KEEP PLAYING IT AT WCG? TELL ME! ANYBODY PLEASE!!!!!

Well i dont know they're just too lazzy to pay for an other expansion of this game that i always liked but anyway ...... we cannot really something about it man :( .....
the only way to create one would be to find someon to do so but thats kinda complicated
Anyway even if theyre is not an other expansion of this game we can still say that we played one of the best game ;)
