I wasnt aware of this 2 week rule...not allowed to request a nocd until patches are 2 week old??

I'm trying to run the game using an mini image file(German copy) on Daemon 3.47. However, the splash screen for Rome comes up and then a error message saying that I must disable emulated CD/DVD drives to continue. :mad:

Are you sure you don't have CloneCD installed or any signs of it in the registry? It's common with the latest games...

The mini image works great!

But there is another issue. There is a cheat mod for RTW that requires the no-cd cracked .exe. Its some issue with the original exe being encrypted. I'm not requesting the new crack or anything, just saying that there are legitimate reasons for wanting the .exe instead of the mini image.

So could I use the German Mini-Image on a North-American release patched to 1.2?

seeker why dont you just try it instead of asking?

Because if I patch my game and I use the mini-image and it doesn't work then i'm out of luck cause my original copy is broken and wouldn't be able to revert back to 1.0 unless there's an updated no-cd instead of just a fix, in effect i would be screwed without it. Any more brilliant comments you would like to add Luciel?

Well considering you have admitted you no longer have the original CD, you may want to read the forum rules before having a go at Mr Mean Luciel!! Pay particular attention to rule #3!! Now I will give you your own 3.....2......1!! :D
