Safedisc won't let me play original/genuine game cd's
Safedisc is swiftly becoming the bane of my life. I have Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow and Vampires the masquerade bloodlines, both of which i believe have safedisc protection.
I had cloneCD on my system and recently got alcohol 120 and was now not able to play either game. So quickest solution a nice little uninstall (got backups). Unfortunately that hasn't worked, still getting emulation software detected on system when there isn't any left  . Any ideas would be great. It's getting to a strange place when gamers can't even play genuine cd's let alone back-ups of games they've bought! I can imagine Safedisc version 99 error warning 'Safedisc has detected you're computer is turned on, go play outside!!!' Cheers |
Do you have nero or DT installed?
Nope and DT=Daemon tools? nope. This is why it just seems so crazy
Open regedit and search for clonecd and delete everything what is found. if you use alc 120 make sure u use the newest version.
Hahahaha, it works!!! cheers boss. I'm not that great with computers (you don't say  ) so i appreciate it.
Ahh..great...god I love all those uninstall programs....lots of ****e left
I have the same problem but with secure rom games ver 4.89 or above
uninstall clonecd and use latest alcohol 120% or daemon tools
Here are some wierd stuff with SafeDisc 4.
In FlatOut emulation works only with Demon Tools. In Total Club Manager 2005, Alcohol is the one that only works. In Football Manager 2005, it works both way! all I can say...is... W T F! |
the nocd cracks always help me anyway I'm not a very big fan of emulations unless there are not other way with some games and krondike why behind you user name says your are banned if you are not really banned? I jhave been asking me that

another tip for installing alcohol120%: use the expert mode and change the driver names. after installing, go to the alcohol options, virtual drive options and change the vendor name and revision level of the virtual drives.
