Perhaps the rules should be ammeneded to add: No requests BEFORE anything has been released :)

I agree with you completely. But should we suggest people to check out NForce first, before requesting stuff here? I mean, GCW is trying to save its face in front of game manufacturers and publishers and now "orally linking" to a warez-related site...? :(

Although, in most cases the answer to the request for a no-CD patch that isn't on GCW yet is either 1) "it hasn't been done yet, so be patient" or 2) "it has been done but it hasn't been uploaded to GCW yet, so be patient" anyway... :D

The official 1.2 patch just came out a day or two ago. Not sure why you have to go into the total war forums to get it. Anyways make an mini image from your CD and you wont need a crack.

Okay, first of all, my apologies for the rude request.
Somehow I missed that rule when I skimmed them. Shame on me for not reading more carefully. Second of all, I don't know what a mini-image is, and I am wondering where I can get the info. I'll check GCW though first. If it's not there, could someone link me? I want the no CD because I my PC is a laptop, and I can't take my entire game library with me wherever I game. Anyway, I am simply stating that so that nobody thinks I was being rude AND breaking the law at the same time. Just being rude.
