I normale use Record MaxNow to do a data backup!
Is it pos to use Nero 6.6.0.6 Reloaded? If so how? I have tryd the data burn, it works fine but will not read in my xbox. Thanks Suggy |
I don't really have the answer.. but I do have a question.. What was wrong with using record now?
|
Loaded Nero and then RecordMax will not reconize my DVD drives
|
Hmm, you should search the net. I read all these topics of nero actually having an xbox option. I dunno if it is a plugin or not, but I know it is possible.
|
im pretty sure that it is a plug-in, but i dont think it is supplied by NERO company... but maybe, i thought i just had that plug-in, but i couldnt find it, maybe i deleted it, but i am almost 100% i had it, and that it may not be from NERO, i think it was made by some emu site on the net, not suer though

Yeah, my nero has that option.
It says 'make compatiable with XBOX' checkbox. Works too. Makes loading faster than by making iso with craxtion and burning with Alcohol. |
Where did you get the plugin?
|
It was just with my ver. of Nero 6.
|
What ver?
I have 6.6.0.6 Reloaded (latest came out on 10/01/05) Was it part of program or on the plugin cd? |
there is no plugin this option has been a inbuitl part of nero since 6.0 was originally launched it's just that with the early versions of nero 6 were so crap no one realy bothered with it.
this is what you do. LAUNCH NERO ( i personally launched from nero start smart ) SELECT NERO BURNING ROM ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE YOU WILL SEE A SMALL DROP DOWN MENU SELECT DVD FROM THIS DROP DOWN MENU. SELECT DVD-ROM (UDF) A NEW BOX WILL OPEN WITH SEVERAL TABS AT THE TOP OF THE BOX SELECT THE TAB LABLED UDF. YOU SHOULD NOW SEE A SMALL CHECK BOX SAYING " FORCE DVD-VIDEO COMPATABILITY ( REQUIRED FOR X-BOX TM ) JUST CHECK THIS BOX REMEMBER WHEN USING NERO 6 OR HIGHER FOR XBOX GAMES ALWAYS USE ISO-UDF. a better way in my opinion is to use iso craxtion to create the iso and alcohol 120 percent to burn it back to disc this method has worked flawlessley for me over the past 7 or so months. good luck. |
