Rid**** original doesn´t func.
 

hi there,
I bought me the game rid**** . i tryed to install it on two defferent PCs or better sad the insdtall was both times fine , but when i try do start it there is message who tells me That a function cant be startet and thatz it.
I tryed the crack from GCW same same.
Can anybody help.
Mayby some files are missing in my winxp version? :o

rid**** seems to be giving loads of problems, have you got winxp service pack 1 installed?

Yes, RidRichard requires at least sp1, and sp2 (which includes sp1) should be applied whenever you can get it (download or disc request from MS).

I'm not sure about other countries but in Australia we can go to any decent computer shop and they will give you the Sp2 CD for free. Maybe others in different countries can possibly do the same? It will save the dialup uses a huge download. ;)

when it first came out it was in every magazine lol. You can just imagine my face of terror when i opened my pcgamer and this blue thing that said win xp SP2 fell out... LOL

So are they going to bother to patch the game or not? I am up to snuff spec wise and this game is stuttering like HL2's bastard child. Really, Vivendi games get treated like crap it seems, with no suporrt whatsoever! I have half a mind to take it back to the store with a note about this ####... ;)
