Case mod
 

Hey,

Does anyone know where i can get a safe 12 volt supply for some leds? i wanna do a case mod it should look quite cool :)

yeah i know that but what point theres alot of them!

right dont laugh it was my first ps2 case mod, shared out the voltage between 4 leds and hooked up to a 9 volts see if it worked and bang! buggers blew up! worked for a while uber bright then went dimb went orange and bang. looks like its back to the drawing board!

Resistors seaney you need a resistor. I knew youd have trouble with that 12v power source.

i know! i put a 270 on the first and forgot the rest it was the last one 2 blow but still 3 leds went down the drain. im gonna get some 12 volt leds be some bright ones :D

I bet those 12v LED's will have 470 Ohm resisters on them. :p

cheek! im sure they will, plus i still cant find a 12v point everytime i tried 2 find one the ps2 shorted out!
