psx orginal and mini mods

just following on from my last post
I was wondering wether or not the psx original(big) and the newer smaller psx use the same mod chips or not?
Ta..............

I remember there was a chip out that was able to be used with both. I dont know about nowaday's. Or if anyone makes them anymore.
