Problem with Friday Night Lights
 

Ok, I'm having a little trouble making a backup of Friday Night Lights. I have used DVD Shrink, and then tried it using the new version of AnyDVD (that one that gets rid of the new protection). I have had 3 different things happen. 1) The DVD Shrink program freezes up at about 2% during the encoding process. 2) The DVD Shrink program totally shuts off right in the middle of encoding. 3) It goes through the whole process, including the burn process, and the disc's have nothing on them. The light on the burner turns on, just like it's burning, but nothing goes onto the disc. I have lost 4 disc's to this. I have tried 2 Ridata's, 1 Sony, and 1 Taiyo Yuden. No luck on any. I have done other movies since this, and no problems at all.

Have you tried extracting the movie files with VobBlanker? Read up in this thread to see how it works with Resident Evil 2 Apacolypse. http://www.fileforums.com/showthread.php?t=67240

Then try it the same way with this movie. Only bad part is some drives wont work with it so hopefully yours does.

Thanks for the input Ty, but I just got it to work. I used Nero Recode 2 with the newest version of AnyDVD running in the background, and it worked. :)

sorry dude its ur dvd cuz friday night lights worked for me with dvd shrink try cleaning the disk or maybe ur disk tray also if ur using ur hard drive to hold the dvd then burn it try deleting old movies to make room for then new 1
